Engage named Nichefire as one of seven startups in its 14th cohort. The enterprise innovation program’s announcement identifies Michael Howard as Nichefire’s CEO and describes the company’s work in cultural intelligence.

The cohort participates in Engage’s ten-week Launch Program, which gives founders access to a network of 14 corporate organizations and Georgia Tech. The program is designed to help emerging technology companies work through enterprise use cases and build relationships with prospective customers.

For Nichefire, that access creates an opportunity to examine how cultural research fits into the decisions a large organization already makes. A category team evaluating a shift in demand has different requirements from a corporate innovation team investigating a new market. Working through those requirements is part of turning a research capability into a product teams can use.

Engage’s network includes companies such as The Coca-Cola Company and The Home Depot. The program gives participating founders a setting to develop relationships with enterprise leaders and explore potential applications for their technology.
