A five-person innovation team at an unnamed global energy utility used FifthRow to build a standing intelligence program, according to the company’s August 2026 case. Scheduled systems began running in October 2025.

FifthRow reports 3,587 research runs across 382,036 sources in the following eleven months. The program includes recurring domain reports, regulatory monitoring and research on specific opportunities.

Across the broader engagement, FifthRow estimates 284,680 analyst-hours of equivalent research capacity and expresses that estimate as 71 full-time analysts. That is a modeled workload comparison across the recorded work, rather than a count of employees replaced. The operating change is a recurring research service that the small internal team can use between planning cycles.
