Prosper Insights & Analytics announced its Model Factory portal in May 2026, bringing consumer survey data and automated predictive modeling into one environment. Built on Amazon SageMaker, the portal is designed for teams developing audience targeting, customer scoring and forecasting applications. Prosper’s announcement, republished by MarTech Series

The underlying data comes directly from consumers. Prosper says its monthly U.S. survey reaches more than 8,000 people and captures purchase plans alongside measures of financial confidence and other behavioral signals. Those responses give model builders information about what people intend to do before a purchase occurs.

Users select the variables they want to model, then the portal handles data preparation, model training and evaluation. It also supports deployment and scoring against existing customer files. Prosper says the workflow can reduce development from weeks to hours; that is the company’s launch claim, with performance dependent on the application.

For a commercial team, the practical question is whether stated consumer intentions improve a decision it already makes. A retailer could evaluate demand forecasts against actual sales, while a marketing team could test whether the added signals improve audience selection. The portal makes that evaluation easier to undertake.
