In an October 7, 2024 account, FifthRow founder Jan Beránek described how venture builder U+ evolved into FifthRow as more of its research and innovation methods became software.
The company history identifies May 30, 2023 as FifthRow’s initial launch and describes subsequent work on its platform, Flows and custom datasets. By the time of the October account, Beránek said FifthRow had become central to U+ projects and internal processes.
The strategic development was turning methods used in individual engagements into workflows that could be used again. It helps explain the company’s later focus on recurring research and consulting delivered through software.
This is FifthRow’s company history. It does not establish when HauerX began its relationship with FifthRow, or imply a HauerX acquisition of U+.
